The bracket in this kit can be used to adapt the included Sanden style aftermarket compressor to your existing York bracket. The bracket bolts to your old York compressor bracket and allows you to easily mount the included Sanden style A/C compressor in just the right place.

Are you are converting your old or non-operational York or Tecumseh compressor equipped air conditioning system over to a modern Sanden style A/C compressor system? This is the bracket that will do the trick. York and Tecumseh air conditioning compressors have been used in many original equipment applications since 1958 up to 1984 on both American built and imported makes. The York and Tecumseh compressors were used from the factory and in many dealer installed air conditioning systems. Both the York and Tecumseh compressors are basically the same in design and it is easy to exchange them for a Sanden or Sanden type A/C compressor. These compressors were also popular as the basis for add-on air conditioning systems used from 1958 to the early 1990's. The York and Tecumseh compressors were also original equipment on the following, and other production vehicles:
